Question about Uniden TCX905 Cordless Expansion Handset
Hi, we keep losing our handsets for our TRU8885 system, so I purchased 6 new. I need to remove handsets 1-4 that are lost so that I can register the new one (the base will only register 10). How do I get them out of the base unit's database so I can register the new handsets as 1-4. Thanks!
The brillian people at Uniden don't feel it necessary to provide this type information in their manuals. You have to trial and error to find it, but what can you do. All you have to do to reset the base unit itself is to unplug the power, then while holding down the delete key, plug it back in. Hold the delete button down until you hear a beep, which indicates it has reset. Now you can readd handsets and they will start at 1.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
