Question about Alarm & Keyless Entry System for Honda Vehicles
Have you lubricated them before? if so then what did you use? it may just be a gummed up locking mechanism but if the manual locks seem fine then it's probably an electrical issue. Is it only one door? do you use it often?
it usually found in the bunch of wires that are all in a rubber tube going to the door, you can see them when you look where the hinges are and the door is open.
I wouldn't go poking around in there yet. First go and see a parts place and get a wiring diagram that shows what wire colors are for when then you will have to find where they go. It is most likely a broken wire or bad connection. once you found out what does what then either test the wires with a multi meter available at any hardware store ,digital ones are best. adn if you find that the wire is bad then replace it. or repalce all the wire which may affect it. I would do the latter if it's only like 2 wires. hope this helps

I've had the same problem with my 2009 Grand Caravan also.
I asked the dealer about it, but they weren't aware of anything regarding this. Since it has only happened a couple of times during the past year I haven't done anything else about it. They offered to replace the RKE fob (remote) if the problem persisted.
