Question about Frigidaire FEQ332E Electric Dryer
Frigidaire front load dryer. Been getting what are rust marks on white sheets put into dryer. Not a lot but there is normally one small half inch rust line.
What is this caused by?
Is the back plate of the dryer rusted and when the wet clothes are put in and it starts to spin the water gets into the rusted area and that is why i am getting stains..do I need a new dryer?
The front tub support needs to be replaced. It is a felt seal the tub rides on and is getting worn, and the sheets are getting between the drum and seal. no the dryer does not need to be replaced.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Loree Grudem - This can be the result of the shaft bearing and seal. They may have become worn and the transmission oil is creeping up to get in your water. Once this happens, it gets on your clothes to cause staining. Or possibly you have a buildup of fabric softener that comes loose and puts a greasy like substance in your water and on your clothing. Once you put your clothes in the dryer and the old fabric softener melts you will see these spots. I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
