Question about Seiko QHR015SLH Advanced Technology Bedside Alarm Clock Watch

Open Question

Atomic clock goes to the wrong time

I have a Seiko automatic wave clock. Daylight Savings was last night (1 hr. ahead) and the clock time did not change automatically. I reset it by pressing the button on the back, and it's off by ten minutes (it's fast) and I cannot find the manual. There appears to be no button to set minutes/hours. Buttons on the back read:
SET -- TIME ZONE --- RESET -- WAVE
I push the recessed "reset" and it comes back the wrong time. None of the other buttons do anything. I would appreciate any help.

You should be able to make it change. If you do not have instructions, you can get instructions from the Timex web site "timex.com".

At the bottom of the screen click on "manuals/downloads", then on "product
manual download"

Enter your watch type in the search box and click on "search"

Clock is 2 hours ahead of actual cst time

If you have an atomic clock/watch that is not showing the right time, you could have one or two separate problems. First, the clock may not be set for the correct time zone. Second, the clock may have a manual switch to adjust the time for daylight savings time. Each of these problems can make your clock display the incorrect hour of the time, especially after you change the batteries and your clock "forgets" some or all of its prior settings.
Check the back of your clock to see if there is a button or switch to set the correct time zone. If your clock appears to be set to your time zone, change the switch to another time zone and see whether the clock moves forward/backward to adjust. Once it has finished adjusting to the new time zone, adjust the clock back to your time zone to see whether it will now correctly reset to display the time.
I have seen atomic clocks that have manual adjustments for these settings as well as ones that adjust automatically other than the time zone. If you provide the manufacturer and model number of your clock, we should be able to provide more detailed instructions.

I HAVE A CASIO 3054 WAVE CEPTOR WV-58A WATCH. It

I tried putting your module number in (3054) and was able to download the instructions.

Try the following link http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw3054.pdf . This was successful in finding the manual you require.

Good luck and a happy new year.

Time zone

You don't need to set the watch back an hour.  You just need to turn off the automatic DST adjustment.
Hold ADJUST for several seconds.  Then, when DEN starts flashing (or whatever timezone you are set to), hit MODE The display will change to DST flashing at the top and on or auto flashing at the bottom. Click TIME/MEMO or RECEIVE to change on->auto->off.  Once off is flashing at the bottom, hit ADJUST twice and you will be out of DST mode and everything should be fine.

Atomic watch

You most likely don't have the Daylight Savings Time (DST) set to AUTO mode. Just hold the ADJUST button until the time starts blinking. Then hit MODE and DST will show on the top. Hit RECEIVE as needed until you see AUTO in the bottom. Then just hit ADJUST 2 more times and you're set.

These instructions are actually for my Casio G-Shock MTG-900 but I imagine they're very similar for most G-Shock atomic watches.

Daylight Saving Time will not set correctly

Use this page to download a copy of CASIO watch manuals in PDF format. To download a PDF file, enter the four-digit (or three-digit) module number marked on the back cover of your watch.

http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/

You will need a pdf reader on your pc, you will find all instructions in there.

If you don't have a pdf reader you can get one from
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
