Turn the key to the ignition so the bike is ready to start but DO NOT start the engine. Press and hold the SET button (the one on your left index finger, right beneath the light signal) for about 10 seconds. This way a manu will appear. Press and release briefly the SET button so that you can navigate in the menu and choose the option DIAGNOSTICS. Press and hold the SET button for 10 secs so that you select this option. It will then ask you for a code. The code should be 13432. You can input it by pressing and releasing the SET button until you see the number you want and then by holding the SET button for 10 secs to go to the next number. When you enter the code, press and hold the SET button for about 10 secs. You will then see the diagnostics submenu. Navigate to the option RESET SERVICE and then press and hold the SET button for 10 secs. It will ask if yo are sure you want to reset so select yes and press SET for 10 secs. Exit the menu. I know for sure that 13432 is the code for America and Greece but im not entirely sure that it is the same for every geographic region. If the code is wrong then you should probably ask your mechanic

How do i reset the service spanner symbol on my aprilia 125 leonardo sport city scooter

Ok, disconnecting the battery does NOT reset the service light. To reset the service light (spanner symbol) on dashboard you must hold the mode button for about 5 seconds with ignition OFF then while still holding the mode button turn ignition on, continue holding the mode button for a futher 10 - 12 secs and then it should just disapear. This solution was brought to by RPMs. Mobile motorcycle service.
