Problem for GoVideo (VR3845) DVD Recorder / VCR Combo
My go video is locked. How do i unlock it?
I placed a dvd recordable disc to record. But this action could be started. The display read LOCK. I have unplugged and turned off the unit but I can eject the disc or do any other action, It remains LOCKED. How do I unlock it>

- This solution resolved nothing. My problem is not with a dvd disc but with the dvd player. My Go VCR/DVD player is LOCKED and I can not find a way to UNLOCK and EJECT my blank dvd disc from the tray.....Solution #1

The LOCK/UNLOCK feature is for the DVD+RW type discs. You cannot unlock a DVD+R once it's finalized.

For a DVD+RW,
- Place the disc into the machine
- Use the UP arrow to go to the top menu.
- Press the RIGHT arrow to display the disc information menu
- Use the RIGHT/LEFT arrows to select "LOCK/UNLOCK Disc" option.
- Press ENTER
- Change the disc status
- Press ENTER
- A "Changing Disc Status" bar appears. Process can take a few seconds.
- Menu disappears when process is complete.
