Question about Pioneer VSX-35TX Receiver
I bought it new in 2000 and this is the only problem I've had. The message, Power Off comes on the it shuts down. As soon as I turn it on again it just clicks and won't start. I unplugged it and got the same thing. After 30 mins. or so I tried it again and the message comes on and shuts down, I hit the power button again, and this time no message just "POP" and smoke.
It's probably going to need output transistors and some resistors, it's a job for a technician. A rough estimate on price is $100 to $130 (that's parts and labor). Before the smoke it may have only needed repair of bad connections.
