you need to go to Sony's website and download the power management software. It is usually bundled with the chipset drivers.

Whenever my computer starts up and shows the Windows XP logo it shuts down and shows me while starting up that windows wasn't started up rite. Than after a week it COMPLETELY messes up. I've tried a FULL...

It is one of 2 things....

1. It is overheating. Overheating will cause the computer to randomly shut down. You can usually decifer if it is overheating by trying to put the computer back on after it shuts down. For example , start it up...let it shut down...then try to put it back on again...if it doesn't come on at all, or if it shuts down even quicker then the previous time, you are most likely looking at an overheating issue. To remedy that you want to open up the case, clean out all of the dust with a compressed air can (be very careful not to tip the can, it will spray liquid), and verify that all of the system fans are running.

2. Could be any type of hardware failure - from the power supply to the hard drive. If you have completly ruled out the overheating issue, I would just take it to a shop to get diagnosed.

Hardware failure

yes that is a hardware problem, your video card seems to be malfunctioning, if that is newly upgraded you need to install its driver in order to function correctly. and if the symptoms persist you need to install a new video card or try the on board video card

do a virus check-- I had this problem..Then do a restore. set a date to back before you had the problem. If it happens again in a few days--you have a worm. Do you have a full recovery disk set??

My computer keeps telling me that internet explore has caused an error it tells me to send a report and reset my computer i have done that and the problem steel remains

Restart your computer and see if happens again.

If that doesn't work shut your computer down, wait 30 seconds, and power it back up. Turn the computer back on. Just before the windows screen appears press f8 and enter safe mode. Once you get into windows press your internet explorer icon one time. You won't get a connection but it will try to repair any problems.

Then restart your computer the normal way.

Sounds like a spyware problem. I would suggest booting in safe mode with network by pressing F8 just after you turn on your computer then doing a virus scan using this website. Its free.
