The knob part in the door use lock tight on screws. The screws in the frame/jam you have to drill out and glue in a dowel pin Then you can rescrew the screws in after the glue drys for at least 30 mintues to 1 hour the longer the better.

2013 f-150 xlt. what causes column to become all loose and sometimes wont allow key into lock position, and how to fix it

You'll need to pull the steering wheel, and tighten the screws securing the tilt mechanism to the column. If it has been loose for a long time, you may also need to replace the bearing at the turn signal switch canceller.

My gear shift seams to be real loose . when shifting up gear there's no problem , but when i down shift it's real loose and feel like it's slipping all the way to 1st gear

There are two places at the shift leaver that could be the problem. there is a nut and lock-nut together on the shift rod. you can loosen the lock-nut, adgust the play in the rod and then tighten the lock nut (sometimes this is behind a cover plate). Also, the leaver can become loose where it is attached to the splined shaft comming out of the transmission case. This must be tight. It may have slippped. It must be possitioned in a spot that makes it centered so that when shifting either up or down... it feels right. When you get it just right tighten with locktight compound so it doesn't come loose easily. If this is loose for very long, the teeth on spline or the leaver will strip out. Hope this helps.

Lock is loose in the door

You should just have to tighten up the screws, they loosen up from trucks going by. If you don't have trucks, it must be earth quakes or something rattling your house. We have a church on the highway and have to tighten up the locks every month. I didn't believe it either, but it's true.

How do I tighten a Delta kitchen faucet that has become loose?

If it is faucet body on sink loose under sink there should be screws and a plate or washers holding it sink. Tighten them up.

Some have a bolt or nut in the middle requiring a socket to tighten.

If the spout is loose remove handle and it has a plastic ring on top to tighten spout up.

Handle has come loose, just spins.

Most likely the screw in the center of the handle has become loose and just needs to be tightened. Pop off the cover with a screwdriver. and tighten the screw.

Screen loose

Do you mean the screen hinges have become loose? If so they cannot easily be tightened as they need very high torque.

Won't unlock, handle is loose

Tighten all screws on lock to a firm tightness. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as to bend the lock casing! Snug only. Use powered graphite to inject into lock and add to key working it back and forth into the lock.
