Does it even get to a point where you can enter BIOS? If not, check your CMOS, if so and it goes no further, might be your CPU.

How to acsess the boot device menu at post on abit il8 motherboard

.Abit did not add the BIOS post to the manual.

Watch the BIOS post, most all motherboards have the hot-key menu at BIOS post.

If for some reason the hot-key is not reported on BIOS post, then you hit the DELETE key and enter the BIOS, Advanced BIOS Features Setup Menu and set what hardware you want to boot first, under Hard Disk Boot Priority, set First Boot Device

My AN35N 400 WILL NOT POST

I think that you erased your bios
If you can remove the BIOS EPPROM from your motherboard you will just have to buy an epprom programmer and download the bios from th web with an other PC or read the bios of an other Shuttle AN35N
else i think that your motherboard is died (if it's not removable try to found someone that know how remove solded epprom)

I have been tasked to fix an Acer M3802 just out of warranty. It will not post. I have pulled all perifrials, USB, SATA, WNIC, and Vid card. Fires up fans spin - no post. I reseated proc with new arctic...

Either a MoBo or CPU problem. Do you not have a post analyser that plugs into a spare PCI slot? You could then start from bare bones and progress through or at least know it was the CPU or MoBo quicker.

Monitor shut off, no BIOS post, no keyboard or mouse lights, will not boot

Try another (Known good monitor). Or try you're monitor on another system.
Remove all memory except 1 DIMM. Double check all data cables (internally) & power cables. Remove the added video card. Try booting the system. Watch for the case LEDs to flash/blink, listen for hard drive spin up /cd-rom spin up. Lastly pull the battery & check with a volt meter. Bios battery should test no less than 3 volts. Post the correct MD rev.
