Any Hard drives before getting to used with MAC OsX has to be formatted according to the MAC file system... I think that is the problem you are facing... Make sure your hard disk is not formatted for any windows OS and try to reformat for MAC OsX... It should work...
Hi, there. I suppose you must mean to recover data lost from your digital device. In this case, FileRetrieval is one of the best option. It can recover most file formats. If you are running mac os x, go to Data Recovery for Mac.
But just remember - DO NOT write anything back until you get the deleted data back. Best regards.
Just plug it in to your computer. After it loads and see's it as a mass storage device. Right click on My Computer and click Explore. Click the lettered drive on the left frame for Mass Storage or USB Drive and all the files will show up on the right frame. Delete the ones you want. Highlight all with mouse and click delete to remove them all. Optionally you can Right Click on the drive letter and format. I prefer to just use the delete key.
Im not sure how to fix the problem if you use windows, but if you use a mac then the steps below can help. I use a mac and followed the steps below and now my flash drive is fully functioning again.
Connect it to the Mac. Launch Disk Utility from Applications > Utilities. Choose the drive from the list. Click on the Erase tab. In the Volume Format drop down list, choose Mac OS Extended. If you want to Zero out the drive, choose that option from Security Options.Click on the Erase button. Sorry if this didn't help.
unfortunately the files cannot be recovered immediately, macs a are compatible with PC flash drives but not the other way around. you need to format the disk. go to start>my computer> then right click on the flash drive and then left click on format, then click ok. when it is done bring the flash drive back to the mac and put the files back on. now try putting the flash drive into the pc again
