I have the same problem. I bought the chainsaw new and two new chains came off. I still can not figure it out. I think it is that the bar is not wide enough where it goes around the motor area. Any help would be appreciated. The last chain came off when cutting a popular tree. It was the first tree with the new chain. Is it that Husqvarna sucks or is there just a problem with their bars?

Hi, Please use spaces when you type. I need a make and model to know what type of chain tensioner you have.

Check the chain triangular shaped points called drivers that ride in the groove of the bar. if they have a nick on them it will cause them to jump out of the bar.
