I have the abit ip35-p mainboard with a core 2 quad q8200, 620watt corsair power supply, Gainward 9800 gt 512mb ddr3, 4gb Ram ddr2 Corsair and hyper 212 Cooler Master fan. I have windows xp home service pack 2.

I'm having the same problem where the power goes off then on again after like 5 secs, on the boot screen, then it freezes. I have not added any additional hard drive. The boot screen shows, if i can remember well, this message "(some figures)1 cpu ...Memory T" ( where it was supposed to show 1 up to 4 cpus, when booting normally).

    How do I fix this?

Hi there..in mobo with platform p35 works the same like that on-off and on again, its normal so dont worry about that
the real problem is screen blank,i've got replaced new mobo with the same type, but the problem still the same.so its not the mobo problem i think.

May be your in second HDD, you didn't set the jumper up. There are some more settings you will have to configure in the BIOS menu. in the BIOS, you should set the primary HDD as the master and the second(newer HDD) as the secondary. Then it should boot without any problem but if the problem persists I don't know what to do next.

I just got a Intel D875PBZ Motherboard from ebay, im told its suposta work fine, i hook the entire thing up to my system, and it boots, all the fans start, my hard drive starts, i can open/close my disk...

You could try reseting it. unhook the cmos battery and put it back. also make sure that MB sits well in the casing without any shorting (grounding that is not supposed to).

I suggest that you need to buy the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card. It is compatible to your ASUS motherboard. It will display and work faster.

When i boot it up all i get is input not supported.i have everything needed to boot the machine

The error is displayed on the monitor. The problem is due to the wrong display capacitor on the motherboard. Get it replaced by a good technician. It should be done by a Chip Level Technician.

System failed to boot when installing additional 2X 1GB RAMs.

you need to place them on your motherboard where the memory is installed. Place in the order of one new, one old, one new, one old stick. that way they run in dual channel.

Monitor wont come out of standby

You got two outlooks, a fried motherboard or a fried component. If you have integrated graphics then its probably your motherboard, if you have your own, separate graphics card installed then it could have to do with your graphics card.

Google is your friend. It might not be damaged hardware, just some bug.
