To change the wallpaper on your Android phone, follow the steps below:
1.Tap and hold on the "Home screen" to open the "Add to Home" menu.
2.Select "Wallpapers" and choose the type of wallpaper you want to implement. Three options may be available: Gallery, Live wallpapers, and Wallpapers. Note: Live Wallpaper may not be an option on some phones. This is due to the limitations of the hardware of the smart phone itself.
Gallery allows you to set one of your own pictures as wallpaper. Tap "Gallery" and select your preferred picture. You can crop the part of the picture you want to use as wallpaper. Then, tap "Save" to set the picture as your background.
Live Wallpapers provides you with a set of animated backgrounds. Tap "Live Wallpapers" and select the live wallpaper you wish to use. Next, tap "Set wallpaper" to set the live wallpaper as your background.
Wallpapers are a collection of pre-installed wallpapers. Tap "Wallpapers" and select the one you prefer. Next, tap "Set wallpaper" to set the picture as your background.
The AMOLED screen of the Samsung Galaxy S (i9000, Captivate, Vibrant, Fascinate, and Epic) uses quite a bit of power. The screen can use half or more of your battery life throughout the day and can seriously decrease your battery lifespan.
While the Live Wallpapers on the phone can look really neat, anytime a pixel on the phone displays a color other than black it is using power. The closer the color to white, the more power it is using.
Create a picture file of all black in size 980x800. Save this file as a jpg and put it anywhere on your phone (that you will remember where you put it). This file will be found by your picture gallery. Go to the gallery and long press on this picture (or you can do it through Astro file manager) and select set as Wallpaper.
It's not the most exciting wallpaper on the phone, but it will save quite a bit of power.
You can further increase the power saving features by setting your screen brightness all the way down (don't use the auto adjustment).
To use any picture for your background you must have that picture installed in the Ipod.
To install a different picture as a background picture do the following:
1...Turn on Ipod
4...Touch the arrow in the middle of the window, next to the current wallpaper
5...Select pictures from "Wallpaper",Photo Library, ect.

This problem is due to the lack of memory space available in your phone memory. Most phones use their phone memory to save wallpapers. Its simple to solve.Delete some files in your phone memory inorder to create enough memory for the wallpaper. If enough space is available then, your problem will be solved. Good Luck
