I have installed the home edition of xp. the office applications

I have tried downloading the same from the cd but it doesnt seem to work or install

Update your OS to XP service Pack 3 from microsoft.
If your operating system do not have any service Pack(SP) ie minimum SP2 yet, your M/S office 2007 will not function.

It Seems Some System Files are Corrupted or Deleted By Antivirus Application in the Process of Removing Virus from your System ....

Method 1:
--------------
1. Put your Windows XP CD in your CD-Drive
2. Open RUN Dialogue Box From Start Menu
3. Type "SFC /SCANNOW" -- Copy and Paste the Command exactly
With out Quotes
4. Wait Until It Completes everything...
5.Restart and Check your Problem ....

Method 2:

1.Login to your Windows XP
2. Put your Windows XP Home CD in your CD-Drive
3. Click Install Windows XP From Autorun Window.Start Windows XP Autorun Screen if its not opened, by Clicking on the Windows XP CD Drive icon under your My Computer ...
4.Select Same Drive as your Windows XP Now Installed then Select Upgrade Method to Install...

  • Please first arrange Legal MS Office CD
  • uninstall MS Office completely
  • Restart your system
  • Run Setup from Office installation CD, Provide CD key when asked.

Getting error message when opening Micros Office 2003 Edition "Please run set up to install this application".


i) when you install Microsoft Office 2003 Edition some of the application will not be installed  then

there, .......when you are about use such applications  it will give an message: "Please run set up to

install this application", in such cases if you have Microsoft Office 2003 Edition CD try to put it in the CD

Tray  and installation will continue and application will installed and the problem will not persist again.

Is that an original XP home edition installer? You may try another cd installer if you can secure one.

Loading windows installer whil opening office applications


Please wait until the installer finished, the ms office need to install some elements that were unfinished .
And don't forget to put your Ms Office CD Installer in your CD-ROM.
