Well, you need to plug your memory card into your computer. To do this, right click on the memory card and then click format. And check whether it works or not.
Get yourself a copy of Nokia PC Suite. Connect your phone to your computer using a data cable (Any Mini USB data cable will do) Once your phone is detected in PC Suite, click on "Backup" and it should ask you a few questions and backup all your data.
Start by inserting the memory card into your computer, right click on it and click on "Properties". Click on the "Tools" tab and click "Check Now" this should repair errors on the memory Card. Try using the Memory Card to see if the problem still persist.
If it does then right click on the Memory Card Icon found on your "My computer" icon and run a virus scan. The antivirus scan would clean files that are infected. Hope you have a good antivirus for this purpose. Once it's completed you can check to see if the problem still persists.
Finally if it does then I'll advice that you format the memory card, although this means that you would loose all the data you have stored up on the memory stick. Format and try using it.
This should solve your problem, if it persist then you'll have to change the memory stick.
JORAM, I AM GUESSING THAT YOU HAVE A COMPATIBILITY PROBLEM WITH THE MEMORY CARD. ARE YOU SURE THIS MEMORY CARD IS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR NOKIA N95? AND SINCE YOUR COMPUTER WON'T RECOGNIZE THE USB DRIVER, HAVE YOU TRIED TO OBTAIN AN UPDATED DRIVER? GO INTO PROPERTIES ON THE USB DRIVE AND GO TO THE DRIVER TAB AND THEN TO " UPDATE DRIVER " AND SEE IF THERE IS A NEW DRIVER FOR YOUR COMPUTER. TRY THESE, CHECK NOKIA FOR THE MEMORY CARD TO BE SURE IT WILL WORK WITH YOUR PHONE AND TRY TO UPDATE THE USB DRIVER. GOOD LUCK! HOPE THIS HELPS.
