Problem for LG DVB418 DVD Player
Snowy reception on TV with LG DVB418
Have the coaxial cable from my antennae going to my new LG DVB418 and it is picking up excellent digital TV signals. Problem is my TV reception (using the analogue tuner in the TV) is now snowy, when this was never a problem before.
Any ideas on why this is now occuring and anything I could do to fix this.

- Thanks for the quick response.The aerial cable goes from the wall connection to the 'aerial in' on the DVD player and there is an 'aerial out' from the DVD straight to the TV. The DVD player is picking up digital channels, and the TV's analogue signal has a picture, but it has some snow on some channels and interference lines on others. The setup was similar with my VCR, and the TV signal was clear.
Could the DVD have a poor internal connection that is causing the signal to deteriorate from the aerial in to the aerial out? Would a splitter be better, to split the signal from the wall to the DVD and the TV seperately - or is this going to have the same problem.

have you got both cables going into your video ?? if not you need a video splitter to input both the digital and analogue aerials then have a coaxial cable going to the tv

- hi, as for the dvd having a bad connection it is possible but i doubt it have a look on the back of the dvd player and see if there is a set of 3 rca sockets red,white and yellow are the main colours and see if they are on your tv as well if so connect with a cable this is the best set up because it by passes the tuner on the tv if you haven't got these let me know i have a few more ideas regards JimYes
