Question about Frigidaire FRS23R4A Side by Side Refrigerator

Refrigeraor door "thunks!"

Seller delivered new "used" model, and had to remove the doors to get into house. When I open the fridge door, it "thunks" when the door reaches the dedent point. Sounds like it is dropping into position Only does it when opening; if opened fully, does not "thunk" in the return.

Do you suppose the lower bearing hing was put back on ****-eyed?

That s what sounds like, either it cracked upon removal/reinstall. or perhaps it justneed to be tightened. its a seperate "cam lifter and riser" that gives yo the self closing action. strictly an annoyance however, no fearof door falling off

I have just had a Hisense Black Glass French Door fridge delivered. It will not fit through the door way. Can I remove the doors. There is no external water/ice dispenser

try this trick
instead of trying to get the fridge through full on or sideways
put the fridge side on to the door way then open the fridge doors first
that reduces the fridge width by the thickness of the doors and the body of the fridge can be maneuvered through the door way and turned slightly at the last bit to allow the door and hinges to get past the door jamb
You can take the doors off but you have to be sure that on reassembly the doors are sealing properly and adjusted correctly

Here is a link to an Australian supplier of Hoover fridge door seals:

http://www.doorseal.com.au/fridge-seals/hoover

Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated.

Not sure if you can pick it up locally yourself, but you can certainly order one online and have it delivered. Just look for your specific model number at the above website.

Good luck.

Water build up on inside of fridge door of ge french door fridge

humid air in the house. any time you open the fridge, house air is sucked in. when you close it, the fridge cools the air and moisture from the warm air condenses on any cold surface. also check to see if there is a gap in the seal.

Samsung RB1855SW won't stop beeping and fridge malfunctioning

Thanks so much for the advice. I just gently pried the door sensor switch on my Samsung RB1855SL out with a butter knife and then pulled out the electrical connection and it fired up right away. It looks like some orange juice seeped in and corroded it. What a relief to have the fridge working again, not to mention to not have to listen to the beeping.

GE fridge doors open and close

Raise the legs up on front till the machine tilts slightly towards the wall. The weight of the doors will then be shifted towards the machine instead of away from it. Only a slight adjustment is needed and should have been done by the delivery guys. A $5 tip would have gotten that done, you must be a cheapskate.
