Hi, I have a sharp 32sf56b. sound OK. Picture went dim and fuzzy. Clears up a little when turning brightness control all the way down. Picture has no snow. Can see fate vertical line on screen

I would like to know if the precision flatview TV can come on without a remote or the remote is a necessity There is a power switch underneath the TV, so I put it on and the screen hasn't come on, there's just a small red light on left corner at the bottom.
I cant tell you how to program it without knowing which universal remote you are currently using, however, the code for a precision tv is going to be: 166

I need more info about the remote! like Brand and model ! even without code! You should be able to put the remote into a search mode. Here is some common procedure; Put the Remote in search mode, while directing it to the turned on TV, push the power button repeatedly when the TV shuts down you should push the OK button immediately!
