If you want to get password do like this.
Get another ID and pwd,and try to old ID to forgot your password,and send email by them as new ID you will get your new password of old ID.

Do a hard reset, all data will be lost, thus the importance of regular syncs.

Press the power button and the reset at the same time.
Should get erase all data message if sucessful, select yes to complete.
Once it restarts, set up as if new unit, sync to computer.

Full (Hard) reset will resolve the issue however personal data will be erased. If you consider full reset you can press reset and power button together Good Luck
