Hi!

Is it rotated by 90 degree angle? Press CTRL key+ ALT key and while pressing them press UP arrow key.

Please ask for further clarifications.

Please rate this solution as FixYa if you find it useful.

Depending on your operating system. For Vista right click on an empty spot on the desktop & select personalize. Find the setting for desktop & you should be able to set it back. For XO ir would be right click on an empty desktop area & select properties. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

Best of luck.

Can't rotate video

You really can't rotate a video. When was the last time you saw a movie or a TV show in portrait mode instead of landscape mode?

You may be able to use a video editing program to do this. You're certainly not going to do this in your camera.

Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

the keys ctrl+alt+right arrow should do the trick for you. if not then right click on the keyboard and select properties for options and you will find your graphics software has its own rotational software. good luck with two year old, sounds like you'll need it.

Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

Hi...there! Kazz,
Go to your toolbars bottom R/H corner and look for the VGA settings icon ( nVidia or ATI). Right click on that...and look for rotation settings, from there just followed the settings... Have nice day!

Vertical/horizonal

There is no button on the monitor that sets this that I can find.
it is likely you changed the rotate settings for the video somehow.
If you have an ATI video card.
you should see an icon for ATI on the tool bar by the time and date .
right click on it and choose catalyst control center. in there you will find the rotate desktop.
if you don't see the icon then you can find it under start/programs/catalyst control center

Monitor problem

I have seen this before. The computer I did this on, while holding down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys you press one of the arrow keys to rotate the screen. Depending on the arrow key, determines how much rotation you want. This might not be the solution you want.

It is the display adapter software that does this. You will need to go to your display adapter software to get the correct key bindings. I am not talking about the "desktop display settings". If you have an nvidia graphics card then it will be the nvidia graphics adapter software that you installed. Not the driver, but the software that allows you to tweak your graphics adapter.

My advise, use that software to rotate your screen to the correct orientation, then disable those key bindings.
