Question about PC Desktops

Sometimes when I try to print an Email with Firefox the printing appears to be in codes, not English. Other times it prints correctly. Doesn't happen with Internet Explorer.

I'm sure that will work; I just don't know why it doesn't print like that from Internet Explorer.

The driver is wrong, it reads your file as generic driver, look for the right driver for ur printer .

Try selecting the part of the text you want to print, then file and print, select print selection. And print.

see if that fixes it.

Hello,

Uninstall the printer and reinstall it using the new driver. After removing the old driver and installing the new one, scan your computer with RadarSync so that you will know which drivers need some updating.

PRINT ON EMAIL TOO SMALL

In firefox, click on file->print preview..at the top of that page will be a box with scale to the left of it...click on the down arrow and change the percent to a higher one. Print just a few words and see if it is large enough for you...adjust the per cent as needed...

In internet explorer, click file->print preview....there will be a box with a percent in it...click on the down arrow to change it....

When I bring up the E-mail screen on my computer, the printing is so small I cannot6 read it. This is the only time the print is like this..How can I correct...

While in your email browser you can try adjusting the text size by holding down control and pressing the (=) key to make the text larger or by pressing the (-) to make it smaller. This works usually works for web based and program email readers.

Need wireless printer to work everytime i turn it on without trying to find new ways to make it work!

Are you using Windows? If so, when it boots (if it comes up clean then do this)
1) DO NOT TRY TO PRINT
2) Check the status of the printer (enable, disable, offline, etc)
3) The one you want to see is enable or ready.
4) By the way,you want bidirectional 'ON' because your printer won't print correctly. (That's if you have a bidirectional printer)
5) If it is showing any of the codes in step 2, try and correct them.
6) If that doesn't work, check your printer for any loose wires or connections and check the wall outlet to see if it is plugging in correctly.
7) If that doesn't work, get your owner's manual out and see if you can ran a diagnostic test on it. Some printers have a built in program that will let you do this.
8) Last but not least, go to the website of the manufacturer of your printer, go to either FAQ's or knowledge base. Look for either an error code you have seen or description of the problem.

Hope I haven't confused you to much, I just recently retired from the federal government after working on computers for 22 years.

Sharp XE-A202 won't print

Hi.
If it is not printing at all, make sure you have the paper the correct way around. it will only print on one side. Make sure you have thermal paper loaded - standard bond paper rolls will not work in thermal machines. To test the paper, feed a small amount out, then scratch it firmly and quickly with a finger nail. You should see black lines left behind where you scratched it.
If it is printing everything except date and time, then it has been programmed not to. I can help with this.

For some reason when I print from the HP Pavillion dv2000, my printer feeds a blank page through for each page I am printing.

Appears to be a relatively common problem for different reasons--sometimes system, sometimes printer. Things to check--page length settings, try reducing the printout size, margins. What's the printer and what size paper? Thanks

Have you gone to the Control Panel, selected Printers and checked to see if the Brother is still the default printer? If it is not, right click on it and make it default.

Printing from e-mail

The problem you are having is caused because you are printing from a web based email and just clicking print prints the email, the frame and all the advertising on the page.

to avoid this try the following:

1. Doubleclick the email to open it, not just use a preview pane.
2. Highlight just the text that you want to print. (You can click the cursor at the beginning of the text, hold down the CNTL Key and then press down arrow till all lines of text you want are highlighted)
3. Click FILE, PRINT on the browser menu (DO NOT CLICK THE PRINT ICON)
4. A Print window should appear, in the PRINT RANGE section, click SELECTION, then click OK. At this time, only the text you selected should print.
