When make a copy or scanning it get a black line. How can I fix this problem?

I had a professional to clean the scanner and copy machine. The line was gone. He had special tools to clean the machine parts.. Hope that helps.

Open flat bed, remove scan camera, clean internal reflector glasses with ear buds to clean dust on it, as well as clean flat bed glass with galss cleaner both sides fix it back, check copy & scan...

A long black line on scanned images is usually caused by a piece of trash on the scanning mechanism.
Look at the scanning arm (the thing that moves when you scan something) and then see if it has any trash on it. If it looks good then you may have a mechanical malfunction in that part.

Not sure what you have tried but if there are no lines when printing but there when scanning there is something on the scanner. Could be something as small a single dot of dirt and it will put a line down the whole page. Try cleaning the glass.

Any difference between using the document feeder and just the flat bed?

This appears to be a scan head problem either not completeing a full travel or a ccd problem Could even be a piece of some thing come adrift and masking the ccd- can you see anything like that. What ever it is it wont be a repair[unless you can fix it your self] Replacement is only answer I think
