SOURCE: Lost the paddle for my sunbeam breadmaker 5891-33

Know anyone with a really small canoe that will let you borrow one? Sorry, couldn't resist some lame humor, it's been a long day.
On a serious note, there are appliance parts sites all over the internet with that part. Just google for "sunbeam 5891 paddle" without the quotes of course. I was going to include a link but there were so many that it didn't seem as though you should have much trouble finding it.
If for some reason you have any trouble locating one, just add a comment and I'll post a few links.
Good luck

SOURCE: breadmaker paddle rotor falls out, letting liquid

Hi,
Looks like you need a new bread pan. Try looking on Ebay. They are expensive. I just bought a new one at walmart instead.

SOURCE: Sunbeam 5891 Breadmaker stops for several seconds

It is normal. It allows the dough to fall back on the mixer blade. Often these reverse and that also gives the motor time to come to complete stop before reversing.

SOURCE: Sunbeam Breadmaker Pan

You can call 800-528-7713. I just ordered and pan and blade for $ 31.18, including shipping. They have a website: www.jardenstore.com. I just went to the site, and couldn't find the pan, so I would recommend calling the number.

My sunbeam breadmachine started getting the oil spots, leaked into dough and eventually whatever held the paddle shaft onto the bread pan disintegrated or disappeared. Would that be the seal or some kind...

Hi
As long as the drive mechanism beneath the pan is still stiff to turn and fels like it engages the motor you should be fine. See pic. The centre 4 spike drive unit is what is important. Normally the toothed drive belt will fail. If this is still good then replace the pan.3f754847-72d6-45ec-a55c-8ca7f7deffab.jpg

Can't remove kneading blade

If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.

Would there be any problem if I removed the paddle after all dough mixing has been completed?(before baking stage)

Hi, No problem at all. People do this to prevent the paddle from staying in the bread. If bread machine does not have a pause, take the pan out of the machine to remove the paddle to be safe, and do this before final rise and baking cycles. Hank

Need a paddle for a betty crocker breadmaker model bc-1692

Hi,
Ebay has them. BC-1692 seems to be the same as Sunbeam 5891 or Oster. Check out the sunbeam bread maker 5891 and see if it looks like your machine, then look on Ebay for the sunbeam paddle.

Shaft falls out on BB280 breadmaker

Unfortunately there are no official spare parts for the bread pan of the BB280 other than the pan and the paddle, I suggest checking with your local Breville service centre to see if they have a circlip that will suffice, or to check that the pan is intact.

Black goo type liquid oozing from under dough hook when done.

Sounds to me like your seal is bad and you need a new bread pan, which includes the seal. Call phone no. in your manual to get the part you need.

Watch/listen to the machine your machine. After the last knead cycle, remove the paddle from the bake pan before the dough rises, continue to bake as normal.
