Likely a bad power supply board, and that is almost ALWAYS a bad capacitor on the board. They cost under a dollar to purchase a replacement.

Before you fire the computer up next, try running your hair-dryer (yes, your hair-dryer!) and blowing hot air into the innards of the monitor.

If it starts then with no problem, you have "aced" what it needs for a proper repair: a new capacitor on the power supply board, and you can Google for the parts and the instructions.

How do I get Bluetooth to recognize new batteries?

Is it an iMac? If it is, turn the Mac off then unplug for at least 10 sec. Plug back in then turn on. Do not put back the batteries until bluetooth starts to search for your bluetooth device that you are tring to connect. Good luck.

I disconnected my battery in 08 tundra and now it wont idle

disconecting batt resets the computer. now it needs to learn how to set everything to run again. disconnect batt for atleast 60 seconds, re atach, start car it will start and die(dont press gas) do this over and over until it idles (could take up to 10 times). by pressing the gas you make the computer think it is idling to high so it keeps turning down the idle. it will idle fine after reseting computer and starting several times without hitting gas peddle.

Windows keeps re-installing HP Photosmart C4280

I have a customer with Windows XP and the same issue. Told him to unplug the printer cable when starting the computer and/or restarting it. Wait until all auto-start programs have loaded, including and specifically the HP Monitoring Utility program. Once Windows is up and he's at the desktop, THEN plug the printer cable into the computer. He's been doing that for several days now with no duplicate printers installed.

Monitor goes blank less than a second after turning on.

I start my computer and turn it on, and everything looks fine for about 1/4 of a second and then it goes black while leaving the power light green. I can only see the screen again after turning it off and on, but that's only for another 1/4 second. What's up?
I got my rosewill flatscreen as a hand me down from my father. I've had it for several years now. Was working fine until a month ago. When I turn the computer on the screen goes black after 1/4 of a saecond. I have to turn it off and on anywhere from 10 to 20 times before it stays on. I have checked all plugs to the computer and outlets. I have absolutely no idea whats causing this.
