Cord cut off?????? that snot normal!! usually if the cord has beeen cut of its because the unit has been deemed not safe for usage or has been labeled as return /scrap. I say this only for your benifit, dont know the circumstance as to why its not ther, but a normal heavy duty power cord ( available at hardware/ home improvemnt store will do fine)

Kenmore 400 washer, model 110-29422 801: How do I get at the attachments for the electrical power cord - my puppy chewed it in half, and I must replace it. Do I remove the top, or the back, and how,...

Use a putty knife at the base of the control console about 2 inches in from the right and left sides.
Lay the putty knife flat on the top of the washer and push it in under the front corner of the control console to depress the clips on the right and left side.
Then fold the control console panel towards the rear of the washer.
Then you can see the cord and how it attaches.
The cord part number is 285800 and cost about $30.00.
