SOURCE: I have a toshiba IP

Hi ghefner,
I see you need assistance with you IP phone you say the internet is now working and now the phone says IPaddress setting, seems that your IP phone need to be set properly again with the IP address settings and info regarding your Internet or IP phone.
Who is you internet provider? We really will not be able to tell you information regarding your IP address since your internet service provider who gave you the phone can give you that info.
regardless of your IP addresses that you need to enter on your phone I can only provide a manual on the issue on how to configure the functions back again but the IP addresses thatyou need will come from your Internet Service Provider
See this link for the Manual on how to set things up.
Hope this helps on setting things up.

Can't access to internet service

Turn off your internet modem or router for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes turn on you internet modem or router and turn on your computer and when you are already on your desktop click start and click run then type cmd and press enter. On the command prompt type ipconfig/all and press enter and the ipaddress and gateway will appear on your screen but in case there is or no ipaddress and gateway type ipconfig/release then type ipconfig/renew this process will erase the IP settings and renew the IP and gateway. Also check your modem or router if the lights of the modem are blinking, usually three or four lights that are blinking. If the two lights blinking only call your Internet service provider and ask for assistance that you are having difficulties with internet connection. Have a nice day.

I have the HERMO packard bell model. I can hardly access internet and the sound is not heard. Please hhelp

For internet
First check ipaddress
Click Start -run- type cmd hit enter for XP or Start -search-type cmd hit enter in Vista. On the DOS black screen after the blinking cursor type ipconfig hit enter check the ipaddress if are getting ipaddress other than (169........) it is proper ipaddress for e.g
Ping the default gateway e.g ping 147.11.445.478 if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss zero is with Internet explorer or operating system.
If unable to ping or getting 169..... ipaddress . you are having static ip address
On the black screen at the blinking cursor type ipconfig /release hit enter
then type ipconfig /renew hit enter .check ip address
Ping default gateway then ping if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss 0. Try connect to internet using internet explorer or other browser. if still unable to connect then issue with firewall or antivirus or IE corruption .
Create new administrative account in XP and do MSconfig .Restart the system and logon to new account and try connecting to internet.
If issue persist might have to repair IE or operating system as it is software issue or virus issue.
You can connect a different computer if you have one and check internet.
If unable to get any ipaddress or still getting static ip address ,reset modem or check ethernet cable ,do a hard reset on the internet modem.Shutdown and restart computer and check ipaddress then try connecting to internet.

NO sound : Check the sound driver .Try reinstalling sound drivers

My brother printer MFC-640CW has stopped taking comand to print documents from my computer, i can copy and scan, but not print . ink pads are full.

Make sure the status and configuration of the print server. Check following:

1 Make sure that the machine is powered on, is on-line and ready to print.

2 Print the Network Configuration List of the machine and check if the settings such as IP address settings
are correct for your network. The problem may be the result of mismatched or duplicate IP address.
Verify that the IP address is correctly loaded into the print server. And make sure that no other nodes on
the network have this IP address.

3 Verify that the print server is on your network as follows:
For Windows®
(1) Try pinging the print server from the host operating system command prompt with the command:
ping ipaddress
Where ipaddress is the print server IP address (note that in some instances it can take up to two
minutes for the print server to load its IP address after setting the IP address).
(2) If a successful response is received, then proceed to Windows® 98/98SE/Me Peer-to-Peer print
(LPR) troubleshooting
. Otherwise, proceed to Step 4.

4 Reset the print server back to the default factory settings and try from the initial setup again. For
information how to reset to the default factory settings, see Restoring the network settings to factory in the manual.

Ps3 keeps on saying ip timed out

your ip settings are most likely wrong, check your desktop pc settings

here is how

start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig

note, ipaddress, subnet, gateway

if your desktops ip is similiar to 192.168.1. 2 to 254
then set your ps3's ip as for example
just a number between 2 and 254 (the 1 is used by router) witch isnt used.

your address might show for example or a more complex ip like if this is the case set the ps3 on automatically get ipaddress and dns server.

if you need any help let me know. Good luck.
