Runs for a couple of minutes and quits and won't start again

Sounds like your solenoid is going bad... easy fix..

Unhook your battery again for about 15 minutes. After you re hook it up, let car sit with the key in the on position, but not running. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, and then turn key off, and start it. It may run rough for a few minutes as the sensors and systems are all resetting. If you try running it right away, or cold, it can confuse the regen process

You had better check the timing belt again, you may have done something wrong and it skipped teeth.

have the crank sensor checked also check the fuel system for correct pressure

I once had a wee car,whenever it got too much petrol inside itself it refused to go anywhere and had to rest for some time and you had to be very careful with the choke and the petrol so it did not swallow too much of it and need another rest.

probally crank sensor. starts then stalls after driving a few min. then won't start for awhile. u can actually check it on the ecu. 4 green lights then 4 red lights. if you can't run the comp check on ecu let me know i'll look it up its been awhile had same prob years ago all my sensors are new

sounds like thats a float problem, get the carb checked

I would say your ignition coil is bad. They get hot and quit working until they cool off then work again.

remove the float bowl and empty the contents out clean and replace
