Question about GE WJRR4170E Top Load Washer
When the machine is in teh wash mode occasionally a screech nosie comes from the "transmission"? I can see the drive shaft turning it looks fine, belts are fine, but the noise sounds line it is coming from teh HUB teh sahft passes through. Teh noise is not constant, but random.
It sounds like it could be a brake pad that has broken and is partially rubbing against the brake frame.
