I have an apple laptop that I use through my router and can not print on my printer that is connected to my PC in my home office. It was connected at one time, but I must have inadvertantly disconnected it somehow.

You need to check and make sure of three things. First, that the two computers are networked. Second, that you have selected to share the printer on the PC. Third, that you have the printer driver installed on the Mac. It would help to know which versions of OS you are running on each machine, and which printer model as well...

In our home office we have two HP laptops, both running Windows XP and Office 2007. We connect to our work group through a wireless network. Our Epson TX610FW printer is connected to the wireless router....

Two and a half minutes for each print job is certainly a long time to wait considering that you're only printing a Word document or an email. Some printers go into a standby mode when not in use in order to conserve power and once a print job is sent to it it then performs self checks and warms up before printing which can take some time. Does it still take two and half minutes to print a job directly after printing the first one?

May I suggest that you delete any old printers that you're not using from the printers option in the control panel, make the Epson your default and check to see whether you've got the latest version of the device driver for this printer installed on both laptops. Also make sure that the printer is installed in a stand alone capacity rather than shared from one laptop to the other.

Can I connect my printer to the uverse router USB port for sharin

If your using Windows operating system you can share your printer. That way you can keep your printer on one pc and when the other pc wants to print it will connect to your printer over your home network and print.
How to setup it in Windows XP
To share the printer, I opened the Printers and Faxes folder on the computer that was connected to my printer.
To open the Printers and Faxes folder
• Click Start and then click Control Panel.
• Click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Printers and Faxes.
• In the Printers and Faxes folder, I clicked the printer's icon and, in the tasks pane, I clicked Share This Printer.
• I opened the printer's Properties dialog box, and clicked on the Sharing tab.
• I clicked Share Name, and then clicked OK.
That's it—the printer was immediately available for other computers to use.
Now that I had a network printer, I was ready to connect to it and print from other computers on the network.
To connect to the printer
• I opened Control Panel, and clicked Printers and Other Hardware.
• I clicked Add a Printer.
• Instead of adding a local printer, though, I clicked Printer Connection and then browsed the network for the printer.
The whole process took less than a minute before I was printing to the network printer as though it was connected to the computer.

Wireless printing does not work

For an effective wireless connection, the printer should be connected to one of the LAN ports of a configured wireless router. This way, every pc(mostly laptops with wireless capability) can print to the printer. You will need a wireless adapter for desktop pcs to access any resource made available wirelessly ok. Good luck

How to wirelessly access HP Laserjet 1320n via Apple iBook

You need to disconnect the USB cable and set it up wireless on both units:
Since it is plugged into the router, it should already have an IP address.
Un-install the printer from the computers.
Then re-install the printer from the cd or from HP's website. When you get to the point where it ask you is the printer is attached to the computer or is it over the network. Choose over the net work and the software will find the printer IP and finish setting it up wireless.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
