This Aspen pad is avalable from a couple of sites, including Amazon which ships from hardwarehabitat.com, also from onlinehardwarestore. I used the following argument to search: "CONVAIR" ASPEN PAD COOLER REPLACEMENT PAD It is getting more difficult to find, mine is 7 years old. best of luck!
Touch the BROIL HI/LO and BAKE pads
at the same time for 3 seconds until the display shows SF.
Touch the BAKE pad. A two digit number shows
in the display.
Touch BAKE again to alternate between
increasing and decreasing the oven temperature.
The oven temperature can be
adjusted up to (+) 35°F (19°C) hotter or (-) 35°F (19°C) cooler. Touch the
number pads the same way you read them. For example, to change the oven
temperature 15°F (8°C), touch 1 and
5.
When you have made the adjustment,
touch the START pad to go back to the time of
day display. Use your oven as you would normally.
The pads you need are at least 8 inches thick. If you have the contractor model, then the pads will be 12 inches thick.
Find a distributor in your town that sells cooler parts, if they dont have them, some of the big home improvement stores carry the pads for your cooler.
Make sure you are using a bleedoff or a dump pump to eliminate the hard water out of the cooler. If you keep those pads clean, they wiil last for many years.
