Question about HP DeskJet 920c InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Alignment/selftest sheets print whenever I turn on the printer.

Is there some way to make the printer stop printing the selftest sheets? I do the alignment when inserting a new cartridge, but it often prints the sheet right after I turn on the printer and sometimes when I put in paper. It is using up the expensive color cartridge ink! One day I came in after a power outage and there were ten alignment sheet on the floor.

My other problem is that the roller frequently will not accept the paper in the printer so I have to press the resume button over and over before it prints. I can generally make it print if I use only one sheet.

Stop continual printer printer alignment hp 8500

Hi,

If the Printer is printing alignment sheet, You need to re-align the printer one more time.

1.Press the Setup Button
2. Scroll to Tools
3. Choose clean Printhead
4. Let go through the process.
5. After the printer has printed alignment sheet, Turn off the printer and turn on.
If the issue still persist, Change the cartridges which are low on ink and the printer will re-align itself.

The PGBK cartridge doesn't print anything

Do a selftest on the printer. If the Selftest prints out something, uninstall the printer Driver and reinstall it again. If it still did not work checkin the printer to a qualified technican to have a look at it.

My printer wnt work i boght new ink but it wont print

Hi

whenever you put new ink cartridges, your printer prints an alignment sheet
if your printer isn't printing,
one of the concern could be that it didn't print the alignment, uninstall the cartridges and put them back again.

also try printing an alignment sheet using the printer driver located in the control panel, printers and faxes
once you go into the properties and click on the device settings and click on service this device you will get option to print alignment sheet
this should work

MY test page always prints

Hi,

I belive that after replacing the INk cartridges, you are experiancing this problem. The Alignment test sheet always prints everytime you turn on the printer, if u haven't completed the Alignment process.

To complete the Alignment process,
>>Once the printer finished printing the Alignmnet test sheet.
>> Place the Test sheet staright on the scanner glass facing down towards right hand corner.
>>Press the scan button(color), the Power ON light will start flashing, wait until it stops flashing.
>>Alignmnet process completed.

Thank You
