Samsumg ML2010 Laser Printer intermittent print out of margin
Samsumg ML2010 Laser Printer intermittent printing out of margin. Is there any fix for this? It seems the electronics are bad, but I have no way of proving it. The drivers are fresh from Samsung download page.
Here;s what I would do, uninstall the Drivers, then re-install the drivers again, see if this improves it, if not you will need to call samsung, **** wish you were in Ct we are Authorized Samsang Dealers.
Sorry I think based on the rules of fixya.com I can't even give you Samsung's number to call for Tech Support, Hey their rules not MINE.

It happens when the documents is on A4 size and the printer is set to print on letter size (which is smaller in size). Hence the printer automatically resizes the prints which result in larger margins and print as compared to the actual document. Therefore, when you print the documents (Press Ctrl+P) you have to select the paper (A4) from the print properties.
If the FS-1000 prints too far down the page or leave too much top margin or leaves a gap at the top of the page etc (<- for google searches). This is a problem with the felt pads on the three solenoids/clutch electro magnets that are under the right panel (2 under the engine/button board, 1 under the inner plastic cover, sometimes 4 in total on other kyocera printers). They get compressed over time meaning the metal leavers come into contact with the solenoid meaning they are released too slowly. Simply replace the felt pads with .5mm cardboard or another non-sticky non-metallic material. Too thick and it prints too far up the page.
You may all you need to do is open the properties of the printer and check that there maybe a setting that says margins or you are looking for edge to edge printing. Check that then you should be able to print without margins. Also within MS word click file then page setup and check the margins in that as that can also cause your fault.
