Have you found the fuse box, under the bonnet on LHS of vehicle?
In the lid of the fuse box it will outline which fuse controls the function.

SOURCE: 1993 bmw 525i fuel pump

Hi, your fuel pump is located in the trunk underneath an access cover on the passenger side. remove the screws on the cover and you will see the in tank pump and sending unit. when replacing your pump, make sure to note the position of the 2 fuel hoses so you don't accidentally cross them when putting in the new pump.

SOURCE: Windows are not working

Chances are it is not a relay but a dirty switch. When the switches on these cars get dirty they will either only work sometimes or not at all. You can take apart the switches and clean them I do not recommend this unless you have experience doing this as there is a lot of small parts. Your best bet would be to pick up a few new switches and see if that resolves the issue. If it does not then you have an electrical issue. There is NO replay under the dash for the windows. The relay for the windows is located under the rear seat and is call the A-1 general module. It is a green rectangular box located, again, under the rear seat on the drivers side. If a new switch doesn't resolve the problem and new A-1 GM will

1995 BMW 525i back power window won't go up or down? Can hear motor when pushing button up or down.

Hi This sounds like it could be either of 3 things, first one, it may have come off the window runner that connects the glass to the motor drive, the motor cog inside the motor has broken in some way or the cable that drives through the motor has broken, i have attached a picture with components on so you can see how many things could go wrong, probably best thing to do is replace the whole thing maybe one from breaker yard. 25245083-vsrhmgky1iochn110wmavtyi-1-0.jpghope this helps...

1990 BMW 525i 2.5L engine overheats after rplaceing water pump, stermostat,fan clucth,radiator

There's trapped air in the cooling system.
  • You need to remove the bleeder screw on top of the radiator when adding water to the expansion tank.
  • With the engine running, pour water into the expansion tank till you see air go out through the bleeder screw's hole.
  • Just keep adding water until no more air bubbles come out then just put the screw back in place.
  • Then fill the expansion tank to it's normal level/line.

I have a 1990 bmw 525i. once i put in a aftermarket radio,(sony explod). my windsheild wipers, windows, sunroof, dont work,

You probably blew a fuse of knocked out a wiring harness during the install. Check the fuses first, if you don't see anything blown pull the radio back out and be sure all the wiring harnesses in the area near the radio are secure.

My 1990 BMW 525i is over heating

Try replacing the thermostat. It is supposed to open when the water temp reaches a certain point usually around 180 degrees. It might be stuck in the closed position.
