click the link directly .

The following link directs you to a service manual that shows you how to disassemble a Samsung D820. Although your model is the D840, the D820 is cosmetically similar and this manual will show you step-by-step how to disassemble the phone (in order to remove the screen). I hope this helps for you. :) Source(s): http://www.scribd.com/doc/264326/Samsung... the model number will be different but the system of disassembling will be same.as you have not mentioned the model number of your phone .but this will solve the screen cleaning problem.

Start by taking the covers off the phone, remove the battery and everything else, start unscrewing all the screws you locate, also check under labels and other soft objects for more screws, eventually you will get it apart.

My phone screen broke ,fell in the toilet and then a week later it did not want to turn on

You should take the back cover off and remove battery if possible. Then leave it fully submerged in a bag of rice for atleast 48 hours. If you can get ahold of silica beads (come with new shoes) those work even better. Just remember you don't want to keep trying to charge it because you're sending electricity through all of that water inside your circuits. If that still doesn't work, you will need to take it to a repair shop so they can dismantle the phone and clean corrosion on the pcb

I can't hear the caller on the other end when makin outgoing.....or if its incoming.

Hello,

If you can't hear the incoming or outgoing calls, might your earpiece seems to be the problem, might possible by software resetting. This is the easiest thing to do before anything else and if you're afraid of opening your phone immediately. But before doing this procedure,be sure all data is back up because everything will be deleted after and goes back to original settings. On your homescreen, type *#7370#,it will ask for the lock code, enter your preferred code if you change it before,or just enter 12345 as the default code.

If the problem is still the same, need to check earpiece module.possible to be damage when the phone drop on the ground,or might be dislocated and need to align the earpiece pins as well as cleaning both interface, and possible to fix by disassembling the front panel. To have an idea on how to dismantle your phone, please watch this.(This is DIY procedure)

If your phone is under warranty, its better to bring it to the authorized service center, this is free of charge. but if doesn't cover the warranty, you may proceed this step by step procedure.

But if you can not fix it along, better ask assistance to any mobile service center near you.

Hope This method helps..Thank you for visiting FixYa..

The lcd screen cracked and won't show display but touch screen still works and you can turn off and on.

The LCD panel and Touch screen panel were both have separate circuit connection. the covering panel of the LCD is the touch screen the inner is the LCD, replacing an LCD is quite just bit easy all you need a replacement LCD, you can purchased it online or via ebay. and you'll also need a dismantling guide and a very cheap opening tools.
find it here: all mobile phones dismantling guides

How to dismantle the housing of my P910i without damaging it?

On your flip top key pad, you can remove first the middle cover, it is clip type so no need to un scew, but just be very carefull.

after removing it, you'll see to set of screw, remove it so that you can take out the flip key pad,

turn your unit back, near the camera , there are two small cover there , remove it and you will see two screw, take it out

open the battery cover, remove the battery and sim card and the memory card, inside you will see, again two set of screw, take it out,

now all the screw has been removed

on the side oy your unit where you ca find the scroll, try to plip out the cover usig a twizzer or any pointd object, just flip the cover easily until you where able to remove the topcover completely

now just support the LCD, be very carefull so that may never damaged the flex of your screen

at the back of the screen, there are again another set of screw, remove it slowly, make sure that you supported the screen properly

then you can remove the lcd after taking out the stainless cover protection

removing the board is very simple, just lift the board a little higher enough for you to see the back of the board, there is another flex wire attached to the board and the scroll switch, remove it carefully.

then thats it, you had dismantle your unit
