Problem for Wacom Graphire4 4x5
Flickering light?
I have this kind of problem with Graphire4...
When I start using the tablet it works a few seconds but then the blue light on the tablet start flickering and cursor does not move any at all. And sometimes that light shut down completely and I have to plug out the tablet to make it back... though same thing happening again and again: It flickers or disappears.
What might be the problem? I've been uninstalled drivers many times and trying newest versions too. No use.
I'm totally out of ideas, so it would be nice if somebody has a solutions?

- I have a similar problem with my Graphire 4. I cut the wire below the connectors and then stripped the wire below the break, and discovered only 4 wires, but he connection to the motherboard has 5! Where did the 5th wire come from? Anyone know what to do?- GuestSolution #1

I had the same things happening on a Graphire3. In my case it was a broken wire in the usb cable just outside of the tablet. Try moving the cable around and see if that causes the problem. To solve it, I pried open the tablet, desoldered the cable, cut it off below the break, and CAREFULLY resoldered the cable to the board. It has worked perfectly ever since.
