Question about Kenmore Ovens
The stove Lock - therefore the stove door will not open this is a Kenmore stove
If you open the lid on your stove, you will probably be able to reset the
switch manually (the latch).with the lid up its located toward the front
behind the safety latch.(by no means attempt to force, bypass,or disable this
switch)this is a safety feature designed to protect you from the high temps
generated by the cleaning cycle.hope this helps.thanx for using fix-ya
Try this, and let me know if it worked, I am trying to help someone else with the same problem, that stove is Model, 790
