I can get everything to basically work its just everytime i go to take a picture it does nothing and the shudder will not move.

SOURCE: nikon n65 will not take pictures
Not knowing if you are shooting in auto or have recently switched from manual to auto shooting you may have adjusted your f-stop on the lens, make sure you adjust the ring to align with the auto setting (the f-22 in red letters) with the dot on the lens) then the camera will be allowed to open for enough light to take the shot.

SOURCE: Putting film into nikon f60
It is fairly simple. Insert the film canister with the hole side (not the projection) down. Insert the spool of the camera into this hole and slide the canister inside the chamber. Now pull the film out slightly so that the leader (the narrow portion at the end of the film) aligns with the orange mark at the lower right end of the film chamber. Make sure there is no slack in the film. Close the door and turn on the camera.

This might be a long shot, but on the lens section of the guide shown below, it notes ,,,,
Non-G lenses will have an aperture ring on the base of the lens where it's attached to the camera. Set this this ring to the smallest aperture (largest number), usually in orange and 16, 22 or 32. There usually is a lock to keep this ring set there, since if it comes off that setting you'll get an error message (fEE) from most cameras.
Full guide is here:
Hope this helps
