    not working.
    still not accepting printing order.

  • GMWaldherr1 Mar 07, 2009

reset the printer or replace the carriage cable.that will solve the problem.

    unfortunately not.
still it says error code 300. printer does not respond.

  • GMWaldherr1 Mar 07, 2009

    Turn off printer
Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
HERE LIGHT TURNS ORANGE, STAYS ORANGE, NOT GREEN... (I NOW CAN'T EVEN TURN THE PRINTER OFF ANYMORE)
Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
Your printer should respond as normal.

buying a new printer is hardly the "solution" i was looking for.
    nobody's fault but the printer's.
many thanks for the information, which was helpful.

Please remove the printer cartridges. Then please clean all the electric contact points on the ink cartridges and printer. Reseat the cartridges and then turn the printer off and then on again. Please test to see if the printer is working properly.

Printer error code 300 it means the the ic number 233 and capacitor number 67uzh on the main board of the printer needs replacement.this error cannot be resetted as its the main board error.if the main board is the problem.then do not replace the board.as the cost of replacement will be near to new printer.

How to fix Error number 300

Error 300 has 3 possible causes

- the unit is not ready
- it is not properly connected to the PC
- the mode you want to use is not selected

If the unit is on and the Operation Panel is on then the issue is likely the USB connection.

Switch the USB cable to a different port on your computer. If you are using a USB Hub, move the cable to a USB port directly connected to the PC and test.

The manual for your unit can be found here - link is to the Error 300 page

Setting Ip address on canon c3220 imagerunner.

Is the Canon connected with a cable that's connected to an active port. You can try to Fixed IP hold down 1 & 7 When you power up the machine, make the necessary network configurations and see if pings back with a reply.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Using D-link dp-300 Printer Canon ImargeClass MF4350d (Multifunction printer) Problem. I can not use scanner fanction. (no problem for printer) Without printer server, I able to use the scanner.

Hi,

The problem you are having is pretty standard, the IP based printing works for most printers but the scanner require direct(or well faked, direct) connectivity with a USB port which most routers do not provide.

Several companies including Startech and Io Gear make Virtual USB devices which would resolve the issue.

How they work differs as instead of creating an IP printer, the usb device installs on an ip and then a driver you install on your PC(s) connect to the unit over the router and sets up a virtual USB port on your machine so you can re-install the printer as a local printer attached to what it thinks is a local USB port.

Doing this will allow you all functionality the printer offers but will slow down printing and scanning a bit

Hope this Helps,

Chris

Cannon printer pixma ip 1600 ink absorber full

Dear khalid,
To fix this problem you need to reset waste ink counter of the printer by using General Tools for Canon ip1200 series (General Tools for ip1300 & 1800 series also works on this printer)
Perform following step to reset waste ink counter:
  • Enter service mode:
-Plug in power cable while holding power button.
-Press RESUME button twice
  • Connect USB cable (you may also connect USB cable before entering service mode, no problem).
  • Run General Tool
  • Select USB port
  • Click waste ink counter: Main & Platen
  • Turn off the printer then turn on and run your printer as usual.
I think it will be more helpful with picture enclose. For I cannot insert image more than 150 kb here, I suggest you to visit Canon Inkjet Printer Forum. I have discussed this topic before.
Please rate me.

Canon mp600r keeps giving error code 300

  1. Delete  the printer in the preferences panel.
  2. Create a new printer in the same panel, using the tab More printers
  3. You will see that url on the general tab of the printer, changes from usb... to bjnp... this is what the mac likes..

No problems from this point forward..
