Check with AIWA they might be able to supply the Operating instructions free. Some have them as a PDF on the website.

How do i set the time on the aiwa cx-naj22

If you don't have the remote, go to CD mode and power off. Push the "pause" button, when the blinking clock appears, quickly press the "pause" button again. Use the back and forward buttons to set the time.

Aiwa Stereo

Same model, same problem. (CX NA-50) I have one that worked great for two years (at best) and I haven't used it since then. I recently decided to look for a solution via the internet.
I read somewhere else that there was a class action settlement with aiwa (now expired) since many of these units had this problem.

Stereo Turns On By Itself

You must have the timer set. Press CLOCK/TIMER button repeatedly until the clock symbol or the word REC with the clock symbol disappears.
