once we finished the installation we can activate with the existing product key If you will get error message like "you exceed number of installation" while trying to activate you need to contact the Norton support to reset the installation count.

Try uninstalling Norton by going to programs then look for its folder...there should be an uninstall icon then click to run...if you can not find it try the following: 1. click start button 2. click control panel 3. double click Programs and Features 3. look for norton, then double click to uninstall program....
Norton Anti-Virus 2008 was made to not be uninstalled. It had integrated itself into your system files preventing Windows Installer from removing the anti-virus machine. Symantec has made this tool available to remove the product. However believe me when I say traces of Norton will remain until the hard-drive is reformatted.

Before following these steps make sure to log off the Internet then close all
other programs. You will not have any problem rebooting. I suggest that you
have a copy of your Norton Antivirus program to reinstall it because it is
always important to keep it installed in your computer or purchase another

1. Click on "Start" Button to your left hand.
2.Click on "Control Panel" to your right it is under the my documents
list, scroll down to find it.
3. Click on "Add or Remove Programs" from the Control Panel Window.
4. In the "Add or Remove Program" window click on Symantec Antivirus
5. Click on "Remove" Button.
6. Accept in dialog box.
7. Restart your computer.
