They make foot pedals, and,you should be able to get them t a good tile tile shop, they cost about 75 bucks,i have 2 of them and use them for the vibration, it might of been the blade guard wing nut they always come loose. now you are way to late to fix those problems, take it to a tool repair shop. bummer dude, you should of bought a target or a pearl

Switch won't work

Take it apart and fix the switch or put a new, different switch in the circuit. May just be a broken wire. Jack

Cutting porcelain tile with wet saw and it breaks at the end of the cut?

Porcelain tile has to be cut painstakingly slow, especially the last inch or two to prevent the splitting problem you are having. When you are cutting tile, the sawblade rides up just a little as the tile is being fed into it. You'll notice it if you stop pushing the tile through and watch the head drop down just a bit. When you are getting to the last part of the cut, reduce the pressure you are using to push the tile into the blade so the blade can wear away the tile with little pressure and vibration as possible.

Tile saw wont start. It's brand new. Is there some sort of safety device.

The first thing you should check is the GFCI switch on the power cord. All tile saws have one because of the water involved with cutting tile. It should have a test and reset button on it, press the reset button to get power to the saw motor. Some bigger saws also have a reset button on the motor itself for overload issues. Check for that if the GFCI reset doesn't work.

Why is my tile saw making different noises?

Sounds like you have bearings going/gone bad. If it's a direct drive model, check the bearings in the motor and on the arbor. If it's a belt driven model check the bearings on either end of the arbor shaft. As bearings go bad, someone using the saw regularly will notice a different tone in the tool. If you are getting vibrations that bad, the bearings are already loosing balls or the race is tore up and all the balls are on one side and can't doing their job correctly.

The saw will not start when plugged it. I tried a different outlet, and no change. i tried the reset button and, i even held the reset button down for 30 seconds and no change. I even opened up the...

More then likely the switch itself is bad. You will need to check it by using a volt meter or a Sperry 4-Way Electrical Tester. It is sold at Home Depot for only $2.96. Here is the location.
Open the switch box like you did before. Plug in the saw. Now touch the black and red leads to the black and white wires coming into the switch. If the light comes on, you have power coming into the switch. If the light does not come on, then you have a problem between the plug and the switch.
If the light did come on, then you will need to test the other side of the switch. Turn the switch to the on position. Touch the leads to the wires coming out of the switch, just like you did before. If the light comes on, the switch is good, If not, the switch needs to be replaced.
If the light comes on, then I believe the brushes may need to be checked on the motor.

Tile saw began having trouble starting. I would

Your motor brushed sound like they're gone bad. Some electric motors have two small plugs on the side which house the brushes. See if yours has this and get new parts. The other possibility is that the bearings are corroded and has built up enough resistance to stop everything.
Might not be able to replace those, however.

Dewalt ds2400 wet saw will through in line breaker not start

sounds like the breakers working to good,i would by pass the reset switch, most likely that switch is bad anyways,we always plug our saws into a outlet box that has a breaker in it ,you know those reset switches are stupid, by pass the reset switch like it wasnt even there, and if that works i would replace the whole cord with a new 1,and buy a 5 dollar junction box that has a breaker in it,i dont know if there is a seperate plug on that saw where u plug the water pump into, if there is i would check that plug first before you bypass the switch.good luck chad

Crooked cuts

The bearings in your saw need to be replaced. I would contact a DeWalt store to obtain the parts or have them do the repair. You have an excellent saw there, well worth repairing. good luck.
