Hello! im sending you this message because i am having a HUGE problem with my phone: sony ericsson S500i. before having this phone, i had a Nokia, so i though that it could have a security code because my Nokia phone had a security code. i tried, and tried, but i didn't succeed. after that, i had to go on an airplane, so i turned my phone off forgetting that i put a phone lock code. when i turned it back on, it asked me for my phone lock code, and i forgot what my phone lock code was, so i couldn't go on my phone. PLEASE HELP ME!!! i think my code was bffs4eve, but i tried that and it didn't work. WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Try resetting the phone (but keep the data and files)
From standby select > Menu > Settings > General Tab > Master Reset > Reset Settings (do not select Reset All or your content will all be deleted), then wiat for propmt and press Continue. You can also remove and reseat the battery afterwards as well.
Hmmm... It seems that did something wrong. I think you may be by mistake change Service Center number which is locating at Text Message setting. You can see it and if anyone have same connection which one you have then go to his service center number write the same number at yours setting. If it is not possible for you or this thing not solve your problem then call your customer care center they will guild you. Because the scenario which you describe there is only two possible reasons.. 1. change of service center number. 2. block sms facility from your service provider.
