Question about Kenmore 72802 Gas Dryer
I took the screws off but there looks like there are two metal clips at the bottom that just will not come loose.
If these springs are at the bottom you pull the front panel towards you at the top then raise the panel to remove. If they are at the top pull the bottom out and raise the front panel from the bottom. Some models require the top to be raised to clear these springs. If this is a Kenmore or whirlpool dryer TheMobiltian is correct these are springs and you just need a putty knife to push them back.
