Re: i can't take more than 2 pictures and i need to find...
The polaroid i830 does not have a good built in memory so u cannot take more than 2 pictures at a resolution of 8 mega pixels.
So, either you need to buy a SD card (I have 2 GB working perfectly fine with my i830) or reduce the resolution to VGA.
1. Switch on the camera.
2. Push the button below 'M'.
3. You will find the option of resolution, select VGA.

You need to go to the store and buy Samsung S730 A-DATA 4GB SDHC Memory Card (Class 4) It is worth about 8-20$. The memory card is used to save pictures. Here is an example: http://www.cellularfactory.com/camera/SAMSUNG/3/46100/
Based on the file size, the files in question are probably RAW, not jpg files. Nikon View NX software or Photoshop will be able to open those files. You may want to convert them to jpg files, but do keep the RAW files since they contain much more picture detail then the jpg files.
It keeps freezing up. It will act like it is taking a picture and will freeze on snap and then THe red light will stay on. WE bought it at a rummage sale and dont know if it is tore up or an easy fix. Dont know where can find instructions to it
Just click all the defaults or the (recommended) buttons. anything except customize and you will be fine. Or, just keep hitting enter when the options come up. You will be fine. I have lots of experience with this.
go to a store that has the machine where you can order a CD of your pictures rather than getting prints. Walgreens, Walmart, etc...
Its a good idea to buy a card reader for your type of card so you dont have to use up battery power while uploading photos to your computer. It saves a lot in batteries.
As for your battery, if you have rechargeables, you should always keep spares and only recharge when battery completely dies, dont charge just because you used it, only when it dies....this will prolong the life of your battery/batteries.
The easyshare program is by itself, you have to get to the windows folders that have these pics.
First - right click on one of the pictures in easyshare, and click properties to find out where the picture is located (i.e. documentsandsettings/owner/sharedpics). once you know where it's at, just go there!
example..... click on my computer, click on c:\, click on documents and settings, click on owner, click on shared pics.... then you just right click the pictures and do whatever you want with them. OR, if you just want to post on myspace, just use the myspace uploader and go directly to the folder you want.
With Picture Gear Lite you have to click on the MPEG file (the same one you clicked on to start the actual download)...hold down the right mouse button and drag it over to a directory or folder on the left part of the screen. It will now be saved there.
Picture Gear Lite is so irritating! Not very intuitive. You can't even name the file before you save it in a folder.
