Removing a screen protector on a Hitachi 57F10A

You might try Hitachi for the service manual with full breakdown.

Basically the entire front screen unit comes off from the front in one piece, then inner two screens come out--carefully! and then frame needs to be partly pulled apart to get out screen from rear as it is in a slot all around the frame.

I have a Mitsubishi 60"

there may be dust behind the screen & also on the reflecting glass. u will see that upper back portion cover is removable. remove it & see that glass there is glass on inner side of cover. clean it, also clean the screen. u will see there are 3 picture tubes faces on bottom side, clean all of them.

if it does not work then u can increase brightness of tv by increasing "screen" control of tv which is on the lower back portion of tv. this can be done by any tv repair expert only.

Good morning, I need to clean inside of my Toshiba 50A60 model tv screen, I do you remove screen?

Yes I Had The Same problem , if your handy with fixing things this will
work.
Step 1- unplug the TV from wall socket
Step 2- disconnect all devices like VCR's DVD Players from the TV
Step 3- remove the speaker covers from the TV
Step 4 - There are 14 screws on front cover, remove these with a
Philips driver, set cover aside
clean with soft brush and wash with water
Step 5- Gently raise the cover straight up to release it from its supports
Once cleared from supports , remove the cover.

Tips- Make sure you don't scratch any of the screens or CRTs

You can clean the mirror with any glass cleaner, make sure to wipe it
clean , water and vinegar does a good job to eliminate streaks.

Use a soft duster to clean the dust from the circut boards
Tip - Remember take it easy when cleaning

When your finished cleaning, just reverse the steps

TV SOMETIMES turns off after 5-10 min. SOMETIMES it runs well :\

Its most likely a problem with the lamp fan / Thermak sensor or the color wheel as either one can cause the symptom youre describing. To clean the mirrors there are actually two A large one and a small one. Remove the lower speaker cover and you will notice 4 screws along the lower edge of the screen assembly, then remove the screws along the edge of the rear upper panel then lift the screen assembly slightly to disengage the clips then remove the screen assembly. The large mirror is on the rear wall of the set. The small mirror is dead center in the front where the lens projects and then the small mirror reflects the image onto the larger mirror.

Cleaning the TV

On each side of the set is a round access panel. Remove the oblong style cover to get to the screw that holds the round door on. You should have access through the hole once the hole cover is removed. Don't spray anything inside and cleaning should be done with a dry soft cloth. If you need further instruction, reply to this post.
