Question about StarTech.com StarView SV431USB 4-port KVM Switch
Hi, i am totally new to this do i wont beat around the bush, i have brought a starview 4 (the box super) and am really pleased with it.i expected problems when i installed but all went well.all i want to know is when my channels get scrambled i need to put in new codes yes? and somebody PLEASE explain what firmware is to me.... really appreciated, andy
Firmware is a term sometimes used to denote the fixed, usually rather small, programs that internally control various electronic devices. you can get updates from the web..try the chatterbox.cc
You will in time need to re-new your codes..as they change as you have the starview 4 that might not be for some time (but don't hold me to that lol)
If I can be of more use to you just get back to me and I will do my best.
