Question about Mitsubishi WD-62827 62" Television
The Power/Timer Indicator blinks rapidly for a short time the stops then after about thirty seconds starts blinking rapidly again. I can hear the click like the TV is trying to come on but there isn't any picture just the green rapidly blinking light. I'v tried to reset using the reset button, I've unplugged the TV from the outlet, even disconnected the cable box in case the TV was recieving an abnormal digital signal. Nothing has worked. Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix-it? Thanks
Hi there, this is most commonly known as power board failure in the industry. the capacitors are blown. if you are experienced in inspecting circuit boards this will be helpful. you will have to disassemble and pull the power board and preform a break point test. the bown capacitors are easily picked out. they will be swollen and discolored. If you are not comfortable with disassembling this set, i suggest a service call. just tell the tech you are experiencing a power board failure.
