My HP Color Laser Jet CM1015 MFP started printing all my blue color with a drop down shadow

Hi,

There could be several reasons for this. Try the below steps one after another to check if this fixes the issue.

Step 1
The moisture content of the paper might be uneven, or the paper might have moist spots on its surface as a result of environmental humidity. Store the paper in a moisture-proof container. Try removing the top few sheets of paper from the paper tray or use paper from a different source (such as another ****), or try a different brand of paper.

The paper lot is bad. The manufacturing processes can cause some areas to reject toner. Try a different kind or brand of paper.

Step 2
Run the MPF cleaning utility from HP ToolboxFX
Cleaning of the Toner as well.

Step 3
Replace the Cyan(blue) toner as it may be low on ink

How do one correct print quality in hp color laser jet 2600n

Hi Good day!!
Follow this method hope it helps you!!

During the printing process, paper, toner and dust particles can accumulate inside the printer. Over time, this buildup can cause print-quality problems such as toner specks or smearing. This printer has a cleaning mode that can correct and prevent these types of problems.
This printer has two processes for generating cleaning pages: one is automatically generated and one is manually generated. When a new black print cartridge is installed, a cleaning page will be automatically generated prior to calibration.
Clean the fuser using HP Toolbox
NOTE: Use the following procedure to clean the fuser using the HP Toolbox. To clean the engine when the computer is running an operating system that does not support HP Toolbox, see the late-breaking Readme on the root of the CD-ROM, or visit http://www.hp.com/support/clj2600n .

1 Make sure that the printer is turned on and in the Ready state.

2 Open the HP Toolbox using one of the following methods.
*
On the Windows desktop, double-click the HP Toolbox icon.
* On the Windows Start menu, click Programs (All Programs in Windows XP), click HP , click HP Color LaserJet 2600n, and then click HP Color LaserJet 2600n Toolbox .

3 Click the Troubleshooting tab, and then Troubleshooting Tools .
4 Click the Print button next to step 1, "Click the "Print" button to print out the Cleaning Page."

5 Remove the Cleaning Page from the output bin, and load it printed side down in Tray 1.

6 Click the Clean button to complete the cleaning process. Press the GO button on the printer control panel. The Cleaning page will print, with a second page adhered to the first page. This is normal behavior during the cleaning process.

Cleaning spilled toner
Defective print cartridges can develop leaks. Also, after a paper jam has occurred, some toner might remain on the rollers and guides inside the printer. The pages that print immediately after the jam can pick up this toner.
CAUTION: When cleaning the printer, do not touch the ETB with a damp cloth or with fingers.
Cleaning the paper path
The device features a special cleaning mode to clean the paper path.
NOTE: If there is access to HP Toolbox, HP recommends cleaning the paper path by using HP Toolbox.
Clean the paper path

1. Use the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select Service, and then press (SELECT).

2. Use the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select Cleaning Mode, and then press (SELECT).
A page feeds through the printer slowly. Discard the page when the process is completed.

3. Load plain letter or A4 paper when prompted.

4. Press (SELECT) again to confirm and begin the cleaning process.
A page feeds through the printer slowly. Discard the page when the process is completed.

Calibrating the printer
Calibrations are performed at regular intervals. For best print quality, a calibration can be performed from the control panel using the following steps:
NOTE: This will calibrate the color and clean the black electrostatic transfer belt (ETB).

1 Use the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select System setup and then press (SELECT).

2 Use the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select Print quality and then press (SELECT). Calibrate color will display on the control panel.

Press (SELECT).

Printer will not print...it jammed ......the paper jammed in the machine..and I pulled it out....

1. Inspect the paper trays to make sure they are not overloaded. To determine if this is the problem, do a test print with only one piece of paper loaded in the paper tray. (If this turns out to be the problem, keep the paper tray half-full in the future.)
2. Check that the type of paper being used falls within the printer manufacturer's recommendations. For example, paper designed for ink-jet printers doesn't necessarily work well in laser printers. High-quality, bonded paper will cause paper jams in some printers; look for bonded paper that is "laser and ink-jet compatible."
3. If someone has recently printed labels on this printer, check to see if a label has come unglued from a sheet and become stuck inside the printer.
4. Check the gears and rollers for stuck shreds of torn paper from previous jams. Turn off the printer before you attempt to remove the bits of paper.f you have a laser printermag-glass_10x10.gif, inspect the printer's paper rollers. They should be smooth but not shiny. Rollers that are cracked or glazed are a frequent cause of paper jams and should be replaced by a technician.
5. if you have a laser printer, try cleaning the printer's paper rollers with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol (available atelectronics shops or drugstore.Try changing the toner or ink cartridge.

HP 1000 Laser Jet Printer - error printing

Turn the printer off and then back on. Does it go to the ready state? or does it come up and error? If the error only comes up when asking the printer to print then the printer probably has a worn paper pickup roller. You can take the old roller out and rotate the rubber tyre a little.

Figure 2: Print cartridge removed example CAUTION: To prevent damage to the print cartridge, do not expose it to light for more than a few minutes.Be careful not to touch the transfer roller (the black, rubber roller located underneath the print cartridge). Skin oils on the roller can cause print-quality problems. 4. With a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe any residue from the paper path area and the print cartridge cavity. Make sure not to touch the transfer roller with fingers, as the oil can contaminate the roller, resulting in print quality defects. Figure 3: Paper path area and print cartridge cavity example 5. Reinstall the print cartridge and close the top cover. Figure 4: Print cartridge reinstalled example NOTE: If the print cartridge is difficult to reinstall, make sure that the registration plate has been flipped back down into position and that the print cartridge is pushed firmly in place. 6. Accumulation of toner and particles can cause specks to appear on the front or back side of print jobs. To ensure optimum print quality, HP recommends using the cleaning page every time that the print cartridge is replaced or on an automatic pre-established interval. The cleaning procedure takes about 2.5 minutes to complete. A message (either CREATING CLEANING PAGE or CLEANING) appears on the printer control panel display while the cleaning is taking place. NOTE: Use plain paper to print the cleaning page. Please note that this is a two-step process. First print out the cleaning page using the following directions, then follow the directions on the cleaning page itself to reinsert it back into the printer to perform the cleaning. Use the following steps to run the cleaning page: 1. If the printer model includes a duplexer, open the rear output bin. 2. Press example(Select button) to open the menus. 3.
