My PC's Fan has a loud humming sound every time I boot up PC, how do I fix that?

Hi.

As Dean said, if the humming noise is always present even with the fan spinning at low RPM, replace it. If it's only loud when booting it might be normal ; some computer's BIOS spin the fan very fast when booting and when the Operating system or preset parameters take over, they gradually lower the speed. By the way, unplug the fans one at a time to find which one is causing the noise. If it is a case fan they cost only a few bucks, if it is the CPU fan it is a bit more expensive but aftermarket cooler can be found for around 20$. If you need to replace the CPU cooler, make sure you clean the old thermal paste and apply some fresh one. For a tutorial how Youtube is your best friends ;)

Booting of my pc is very slow. Programs are also opening slowly. how to make booting fast .

Hi.
I recommend using a tune up program like Tuneup utilities... with that program you can Choose the programs to run when windows starts. That software also allows you to run a scan to boost up all your pc.
YOu might also try Ccleaner a FRee program to clean all the trash in your computer and make it faster.
Good luck....

I need to update my bios on A Dell PC

During the initial boot of a computer the BIOS supplier will be displayed. If OEM logo splash screen is displayed, press ESC key to see the boot up information. Press the Pause/Break key if text displays too fast.
The major BIOS suppliers are listed below and can be used to search for special BIOS updates not supplied by the Computer vendor.*

Replace the computer -- if the warranty has expired, the cost to fix it exceeds the cost of replacing it.

Problem in scanned images uploading

If you have 50 units of computer working the same time such as uploading big files, the problem for the rest among your 7 computers that work fast is between the hub connectors on the network system. You can check this connectors by replacing those slow ones to that faster computers.
Then if your faster computers slow down and the replaced connectors from slow working bacomes fast then the problem is in your hub distribution connectors.
If you had trace to that problem, then replace the whole unit of hub connectors.

Windows XP shutdown

The computer is just doing it's internal diagnostics before it shuts down. This uses fairly little amount of physical memory. Every computer handles it differently depending on your configuration. If the computer does shut down on it's own....there is no real problem present.

Windows XP Pro installed but computer boots to Home Edition

It sure is possible.
I would take it back to them and demand that WINXP Pro is put back in there and it boot correctly
They saved about 50 bucks putting in WINXP Home.

Sounds like a bunch of rookies trying to pull a fast one.
